There’s something sacred about stories — especially the ones born from struggle.

Heart of A Writer, LLC™ was never just a name. It’s a testimony. A whisper from God that the words inside me were meant to move mountains, not gather dust. And even when the pages of life got heavy… giving up was never an option.

In 2011, this dream began with nothing more than faith, a pen, and the passion to speak life through storytelling. But let me be honest — the journey hasn’t been easy. There were seasons where the ink ran dry, where my confidence faded, and the voice that once poured out freely felt silenced by disappointment and delay.

Many people knew me and that I loved to write. But where was my support? I found myself sitting at a table alone that was supposed to host those I thought were my closest friends. Only to be ghosted and left with full-course meals to give to the homeless.

But here’s the truth:

Resilience is birthed in the silence.
The heart is revealed when no one’s watching.
And joy? Joy is the miracle that finds you when you choose to keep going.

I kept writing when it didn’t make sense. I kept going when I felt I had no purpose. I kept creating when the audience wasn’t there. I kept believing when the vision looked too big for me. Because deep down, I knew the stories inside me weren’t just mine — they belonged to the broken, the hopeful, the healing, the ones still fighting for their voice.

How was it that I was highly respected and disregarded in the same breath? I guess I was able to learn early on that love, history, and titles meant nothing when the enemy was running through your bloodline or familiar faces. Hiding in plain sight. All I know is that the voice I had was worth more than silence and fear, and it was my goal to hold onto what I had left.

At some point, the courage was going to sound louder than my pain. At some point, I would have to face that if I wanted to be successful, it didn’t matter who was or wasn’t in my corner. I had to push through every obstacle as if I had already been crowned victorious. And Victorious I shall be! Now, as we relaunch Heart of A Writer, LLC™, I’m not just celebrating the comeback — I’m honoring every late night, every tear, every prayer that carried me here.

This relaunch is not just about business. It’s about breathing life back into dreams that almost didn’t survive. It’s a declaration that words still matter. Stories still heal. And joy still wins.

To every creative, entrepreneur, and heart-led visionary out there feeling like you’re walking through the fire — know this:

You’re not alone.
Your story is not over.
And when you refuse to give up, you don’t just survive… you inspire.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
Let’s keep telling stories from the heart — because that’s where the real magic lives.

With heart,
